Appreciative Society Nepal (AS Nepal), a campaign for positive societal transformation, is a non political and not for profit making nongovernmental social organization established with a vision of "Beautiful, peaceful & prosperous society." Cultural and ecological diversity; Natural resources, rivers and jungle, wild animals and birds, and many other natural gifts like Mt.Everest have made Nepal large though very small in size.

  Nepalese people are hardworking, loving, kind, innocent, and friendly. Nepalese society, therefore, is beautiful. However, there are lots of opportunities to make it more beautiful. Education, health, communication, transportation and many other indicators of development have to be introduced. Economic growth is another wish of these people. By uplifting the life style of these people, Nepalese society can be made more beautiful and prosperous. Women, children, youths, and even elderly people are always ready to transform their society into a new model society in the country and in the world.

AS Nepal's guiding principle is Appreciative Inquiry (AI). It believes in the strength of positive core of people. It plays a role of facilitator in the society so that every individual, family, and society can dig out 'what they have.' Community development is possible in true sense if and only if the community people are ready to make a difference. Newness in existing is inspirational always and everywhere. AS Nepal is established to launch a campaign of inspiring people to bring about change in their society by themselves applying their own ideas.

AS Nepal has been established to work in all the areas of Nepal especially in rural areas for the integrated development of the community and people.  It believes that community development programs have to be launched through family. Positive change in family diminishes domestic violence over women, children, and elderly people. On the other hand, a family's overall development is a model of community development. Therefore, AS Nepal launches the entire programs keeping family in the center. Supports of every kind from anybody and anywhere is always welcome. Every penny of support goes directly to the society and people.
